Sale of eco-friendly wooden Christmas trees to benefit SAESEM

🌲 An eco-friendly tree to celebrate Christmas and support our cause?

SAESEM is pleased to launch its special Christmas fundraising campaign. We’re selling sustainable, eco-friendly trees!

Trees that make a difference

All three models are made by Lise and André Tremblay. This retired couple came up with the idea of using wood scraps from Saint-Hyacinthe factories to make these Christmas trees. The pine is then trimmed and sanded at their small local company Éco Dépot.

Reusable, zero waste

Unlike traditional trees, these can be reused year after year, significantly reducing your environmental impact.

50% for the cause

Every tree purchased as part of this campaign will contribute directly to supporting SAESEM’s projects and initiatives. SAESEM in a nutshell:

  • The Mégot Zéro program, which aims to reduce the environmental impact of cigarette butts by proposing solutions for recycling them.
  • The RebutRécup program, which aims to promote the re-use of furniture and household objects, and to limit their landfilling.
  • An environmental education service in schools, to turn today’s children into tomorrow’s responsible adults.
  • The development of environmental projects to combat climate change and do our part, on our own scale, in Montreal.

Thank you for supporting SAESEM in our quest for a more sustainable world.

Trees purchased can be picked up at 1240 rue Saint-Marc in Montreal. Delivery available on request.
